We’re extremely proud to be part of the business community in Wimbledon – it has been our home since the business was founded now 16 years ago. So we’re delighted to be co-hosting a breakfast event in Wimbledon Village on March 22, in conjunction with SW19Lawyers.
The event will be held at the Dog & Fox pub and hotel, with doors opening at 8.30am (full agenda below). It is within the pub area that attendees will be able to enjoy breakfast, network with local businesses and hear two presentations.
The first is from Fayre & Square; they are our charity partners and will kick-off proceedings by telling everyone a bit more about their operation which, in a nutshell, is a volunteering retail initiative (based in Wimbledon’s Centre Court Shopping Mall) which sells artisan goods and provides supported retail skills for young adults to help them gain employment opportunities.
We will then take over the presenting duties by informing attendees ‘why growing retailers must embrace technology to stay competitive’. Fear not – this will not be us promoting ourselves, but will be us informing retailers about the advantages of using technology through real-life examples and case studies. Areas covered will include eReceipts, Click & Collect, MPoS and Social Media.
Once that’s done, attendees can enjoy more refreshments and even browse through a selection of handmade arts and crafts, made by local independent artisans, at the Fayre & Square pop-up store. It is free to attend, though we would encourage a £10 donation which goes to Fayre & Square. For more info on them, click here. We hope to see you in Wimbledon Village on March 22!
